Cebu IT Park Gossip Chronicle Volume 1 Issue 62

Cebu IT Park is glowing again, dear readers, and not only from tower lights, mall signs, and the late-night phone screens of people pretending they are “just checking work.” With fresh talk around uptown green spaces, Central Bloc food-court diplomacy, and the usual night-shift parade of almost-romance, your faithful Chronicle returns with another fictional bundle of whispers from the sidewalks, elevators, cafés, and condo benches.

As always, every person in this issue is invented. Real places are only public backdrops. No real employee, business, or identifiable private person is being accused of anything except inspiring excellent dramatic weather.

The Central Bloc Sauce Treaty

Our first mini-scandal begins near Ayala Malls Central Bloc, where “Mika,” “Dane,” and a silent witness known only as “Extra Napkin” allegedly turned one casual dinner into a diplomatic incident.

According to imaginary table-side sources, “Mika” arrived with her office badge flipped backward, which in Cebu IT Park body language means either “done with work” or “ready to interrogate.” “Dane” appeared shortly after carrying a small dessert bag and the expression of a man who had rehearsed honesty but misplaced the script.

The trouble began with two forks.

“Mika” reportedly lifted the second fork like courtroom evidence. “Dane” claimed it was a backup. Backup for what, sir? A power outage? A second stomach? A secret sauce consultant from Geonzon Street?

Witnesses say the spicy dip became less condiment and more character witness. After five minutes of receipt folding, chair shifting, and one very loud sip of iced tea, “Dane” confessed that he bought dessert because he feared the conversation needed a sweet ending.

Verdict: no breakup, no proposal, but the sauce treaty is active and under emotional monitoring.

The eBloc Elevator Pause

Over at the eBloc towers, the elevators continue to function as Cebu IT Park’s unofficial romance court. This week’s fictional pair: “Arlo,” a night-shift trainee with too much cologne confidence, and “Len,” a coffee-cup philosopher with tiny charms on her lanyard.

They allegedly entered the elevator standing far enough apart to pass HR guidelines but close enough to cause mirror-panel tension. Four passengers witnessed a silence so thick it could have filed a leave request.

Then the elevator stopped at the wrong floor.

“This is not mine,” “Len” supposedly said.

“Maybe it is now,” “Arlo” replied, briefly becoming either romantic or geographically confused.

Chronicle legal reminds readers this line is fictional. Chronicle romance desk has already embroidered it mentally.

“Len” stepped out. “Arlo” stayed in. But as the doors closed, he reportedly held up a convenience-store receipt with writing on the back. Our sources could not read it all, but they swear the first word was “coffee” and the last word looked like “again.”

Verdict: elevator tension upgraded from beige to electric blue.

Sugbo Mercado and the Saved Chair

At Sugbo Mercado, every empty chair has a backstory, and this week one tote-bag-covered seat nearly caused a fictional food-court constitutional crisis.

“Jessa-May” placed her tote on a chair before ordering dinner. When she returned, “Toto Not-The-Influencer” was hovering beside it with a tray, a smile, and the dangerous confidence of someone about to ask, “Is anyone sitting here?”

Reader, someone was sitting there emotionally.

The chair was reportedly saved for “Riv,” a condo-lobby regular recently linked by whispers to the Great Lily Mystery. When “Riv” arrived carrying calamansi juice and no urgency whatsoever, the air changed. “Toto” claimed he thought the tote was decorative. “Jessa-May” answered, “So are red flags.”

Several diners suddenly became very interested in menus they had already finished reading.

Then “Riv” shocked the table by offering “Toto” his own seat and standing calmly beside the group like a man auditioning for humility. The move was so smooth even the barbecue smoke seemed to pause.

Verdict: “Toto” retreated, “Jessa-May” softened, and the chair remains the most powerful furniture in IT Park fiction.

The Condo Lobby Lily Returns

Just when the lobby lily saga seemed to be wilting, a new bloom appeared near a condo reception area close to the IT Park glow. This time, the lily was tucked into the handle of a delivery bag, which is either romance, marketing, or emotional sabotage with noodles.

The fictional recipient, “Nica,” reportedly stared at it and asked, “Who knows I like lilies and midnight pancit?”

Three suspects emerged. First: “Blue Hoodie,” a recurring lobby silhouette with suspicious timing. Second: “Wrong Tower,” a delivery-app romantic who once sent coffee to the wrong building and somehow made it charming. Third: “Quiet Gym Bag,” who says little but appears whenever the plot needs a heartbeat.

A fictional lobby auntie allegedly observed, “Sometimes the flower is not from who you expect. Sometimes it is from who is brave.” The Chronicle has entered this into evidence and possible pillow design.

“Nica” did not throw the lily away. She placed it near the security desk and checked her phone exactly three times while pretending not to wait.

Verdict: the lily lives, the sender hides, and the lobby is now a greenhouse of theories.

Stay Tuned

So ends Volume 1 Issue 62, where forks testify, elevators flirt, chairs hold territory, and flowers behave like encrypted messages. Cebu IT Park may be praised as a growing business hub, but the Chronicle knows the real expansion is happening between unread chats, late-night snacks, and the dangerous little gap between “seen” and “typing.”

Stay tuned, dear readers. Tomorrow may reveal whether the backup fork was innocent, whether coffee happens again, and whether the lily finally gets a name.
